About Datasyncsuite

Datasyncsuite grew out of year-end stocktakes that routinely ran long past midnight because cut-off instructions arrived late and exception decisions sat with whoever happened to hold the loudest radio. We formed to give finance and operations a dedicated coordination partner for inventory count audits — not another set of temporary counters.

Mission

Help Hong Kong companies complete physical inventory counts with clear cut-offs, observed procedures, and exception trails that finance and statutory auditors can follow without reconstructing the night from memory.

How we work

We arrive as independent observers. Your staff still count; we plan zones, watch method, and keep the exception desk honest. That separation matters when lenders, boards, or external auditors ask who controlled the process.

Most of our engagements sit in wholesale sheds, retail backrooms, and third-party logistics sites across Kowloon and the New Territories, with planning meetings at China Building in Central when that is easier for finance leadership.

Helena Tam — Engagement lead
Former internal audit manager who has supervised multi-site retail counts for listed issuers. Helena owns planning memos and auditor-facing coordination notes.

Marcus Yip — Floor coordination
Warehouse operations background with bonded cargo experience. Marcus runs bay assignments, radio discipline, and recount queues on count night.

Priya Sen — Readiness reviews
Focuses on listing hygiene and cut-off drafts before anyone picks up a scanner. Priya’s reviews are the half-day engagements many clients book two weeks before year-end.

• Respect for shifts — Night counts stay on the published window whenever operations holds the freeze.
• Hong Kong practicality — We plan around typhoon signals, cross-harbour travel, and site access rules rather than assuming a suburban campus layout.

Our team holds practising experience in inventory observation under Hong Kong financial reporting engagements. We are not your statutory auditor and do not issue assurance opinions under HKSAs; we coordinate and document the physical count so those who do issue opinions have a clearer trail.
